Amarillo ISD Employee Resigns After Alleged Inapproproate Behavior

School in Amarillo started Monday.  We didn’t last a day without another sad episode of news about an AISD employee facing allegations of inappropriate behavior.

Details are few at this time, only that the employee in question has resigned.

This is the third AISD employee to resign since December.

There have been other episodes in the Panhandle over the last year as well.  My disgust will not allow me to revisit them here.

This was not the way any of us wanted to start the school year.
