As you get ready for your family Christmas, keep in mind there are several organizations in Amarillo that need your help to provide Christmas for the less fortunate.

The Salvation Army is one such organization.  They have printed almost 2,000 angels for its Angel Tree Program.  There are pickup locations across the city.  The Salvation Army has accepted 561 families for help this holiday season.

The Eveline Rivers Project is also in need of donations to help the numerous children they benefit in the area.

The Starbucks on Georgia is hosting a Cheer Party this Saturday.  The store is collecting food for the High Plains Food Bank with free drinks and food samples for donations.

The High Plains Food Bank will put on its annual food drive at the Market Street United from the 3rd through the 8th.
