Amarillo hit-and-run

Amarillo police are still searching for suspects in an early Sunday morning hit-and-run.

Sunday morning around 1am at the intersection of Ross and 3rd street a SUV was driving on the wrong side of the road and struck a car headed north on the street.

Police aren't sure how many people were in the SUV because they all fled on foot after the accident. Three passengers in the car were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident is still under investigation by the APD.
