Amarillo Hailstorm Caused Estimated $400 Million In Damages

It's been just over a week since a hailstorm wreaked havoc on the city of Amarillo.

Most of us are going to remember May 28th.  At least 75% of us will.  The hailstorm hit in the middle of the night and the damage estimates are in.  In all there is about $400 million in damages attributable to the storm.

This includes 75% of housing in the city sustaining damage and 35,000 vehicles.  The city got damage on 225 autos.  One storm siren also gave it's last during the storm.
