Amarillo Family Dollar Robbed Monday Night

Late last night two men robbed to Family Dollar in North Amarillo.

Amarillo police were called just after 8:30pm following the robbery.

Arriving officers were told two black males came into the store.  Both were armed.with handguns.  They forced the employees to open the cash registers while pointing the guns at them.

The pair took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running East on Amarillo Boulevard.

One suspect is 6'1", wearing blue coveralls and a blue bandana covering his face. The second suspect is around 5'8", wearing a black hoodie and a black bandana covering his face.
