Amarillo Dollar General Robbed By Masked Man

The Dollar General at 2726 West 10th was robbed yesterday morning around 10:30am.

Witnesses told police the suspect entered the store carrying a handgun.  The man was wearing an old man mask.  He jumped over a counter and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.  The robber then fled the business through the front door.

The suspect is believed to be a white male.  He was wearing a black coat over a gray sweat shirt and is around 5'8".  There were no injuries reported.

Police are still investigating the robbery.
