Amarillo & Canyon ISDs Garner High Financial Accountabilty Rating

The Texas Education Agency has announced financial accountability ratings for school districts and once again our local ISD's did well.

The TEA has been releasing the accountability ratings since 2001.  It's officially called the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas, or FIRST.

Both Amarillo ISD and Canyon ISD received the "superior" rating, the highest rating on the scale.

Both districts have earned the top honor every year since the system was instituted.
