Amarillo Bowler Wins Lubbock’s PBA Cheetah Open

There are no Cheetah's in Lubbock.  We have a Cheetah's here in Amarillo but they don't bowl.  Either way, Mike Scroggins from Amarillo has won the PBA Southwest Region Lubbock Cheetah Open on Sunday.

Scroggins, 48, won the U.S. Open three years ago and with his win in Lubbock he notched his 45th career PBA victory.

Scroggins won $4,500, money he can spend on shoes, wax, and a fancy new ball.
