After a two year search the Amarillo Orchestra has named a new director and conductor.
Jacomo Rafael Bairos has been named the new man for the Amarillo Orchestra. He will be the 17th conductor in the Amarillo Orchestra's history. He was selected from 213 applicants from 14 countries.
The announcement is timed well. The orchestra's next performance is this Thursday at John Stiff Park for the 4th of July celebration.
