The 4th of July is this Saturday!  If you still don't have plans, there is a ton of events you could participate in.

With all the rain, it seems that more and more 4th of July activities are happening this weekend.  Here are a few things that you can go and enjoy!

Kickin It At Kimbrough

Canyon has a full day of fun planned for the 4th of July Celebration, Saturday, July 4. There's a pancake breakfast, parade, Fair on the Square and Kickin' It At Kimbrough, a concert  featuring the Gin Blossoms followed by fireworks at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.

Explode!  At The Don Harrington Discovery Center

Friday, July 3rd a whole event about combustion will be happening. You'll find water rockets together with combustion and explosion demonstrations and All-American treats from Sonic, Papa John's and the Snowball Stop. It's from 6-9 p.m. Admission is $5 per person (children under 2 and active and retired military are free- please show your ID).

Amarillo Thunderheads Baseball Game

Nothing goes together better than baseball, fireworks and the Amarillo Thunderheads are home for July 4th with a game against the Wichita Wingnuts. And after the game, hang around for one of the area's best fireworks shows, no extra charge! The game starts at 6:05 and the fireworks will start within 30 minutes of the game's end.

Texas the Musical

Texas the Musical always has an extra something during July 4th performances with extra fireworks as part of the show's grand finale. So make it a memorable weekend with a visit to TEXAS and a barbecue dinner before the show within the grandeur of Palo Duro Canyon State Park.

Tascosa Drive-In Theater

The Tascosa Drive-In always has A SPECTACULAR, STUPENDOUS, SENSATIONAL, SPLENDID, STUNNING FIREWORKS SHOW.  Plus, you get to enjoy not one, but two feature movies.  'Inside Out' and Jurassic World will be showing.
