2 Still In Hospital After Stabbing At Longview Hospital
LONGVIEW, Texas (AP) — Two people remain hospitalized after stabbings at an East Texas medical complex left a nurse dead and four other people wounded.
Longview police Officer Kristie Brian on Wednesday had no immediate update on the investigation of the attack that killed nurse Gail Sandidge.
A suspect in Tuesday's stabbings at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview remains in custody. Kyron Rayshawn Templeton was being held on a murder charge and four counts of aggravated assault.
A hospital spokeswoman says a man was in critical condition Wednesday while a woman was in good condition. Victoria Ashworth says both were visiting the hospital's Ambulatory Surgical Center at the time of the attack.
A nurse and another visitor who were also wounded were treated and released later Tuesday. Names of the survivors weren't released.
